With proper care, your Warm Loom pieces will last for years. Here's everything you need to keep them beautiful.
Care Guide
Simple steps to preserve the beauty of your knitwear.
Washing
- Hand wash in cool water (max 30°C/86°F)
- Use a gentle wool or cashmere detergent
- Soak for 10-15 minutes, gently agitate
- Never wring or twist - press water out gently
- Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear
Drying
- Always lay flat on a clean, dry towel
- Reshape garment while damp to original dimensions
- Flip halfway through for even drying
- Keep away from direct heat and sunlight
- Never hang knitwear - it will stretch
Storage
- Fold (never hang) and store in a cool, dry place
- Use breathable cotton garment bags
- Add cedar blocks or lavender sachets
- Avoid plastic bags - fibers need to breathe
- Give pieces a rest between wears
Pilling & Maintenance
- Some pilling is natural with fine fibers
- Use a cashmere comb or sweater stone gently
- Pilling decreases after initial wears
- Spot clean when possible instead of full wash
- Steam to refresh between washes

Fit Tips
Between Sizes?
Our sweaters have a relaxed fit. If you're between sizes and prefer a closer fit, size down. For an oversized look, size up.
Natural Stretch
Natural fibers like merino and cashmere have gentle stretch. They may relax slightly with wear but return to shape after washing.

Our models are typically 5'9" (175cm) wearing size S. Check individual product pages for specific model measurements.

How to Measure
For the most accurate fit, take measurements over light clothing.
Measure around the fullest part of your bust/chest, keeping the tape horizontal and snug but not tight. Keep your arms relaxed at your sides.
Measure around your natural waistline, which is typically the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips, typically 7-8 inches below your natural waist.
With arm slightly bent, measure from the center back of your neck, across your shoulder and down to your wrist bone.
